Privacy notice
This page explains how data is handled when you use the portfolio and, in particular, when you send a message through the contact form.

1. Controller and contact
The data controller is Alessandro Bigi. For requests about personal data, use the contact form on the home page and clearly write “Privacy request”.
2. Data processed
The site requires no account and does not publish a home address, telephone number or CV. Browsing the site does not require you to enter personal data.
- Name, email address and message content when you use the form.
- Minimal technical data needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, timestamp and browser information, according to provider logs.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Form data is used only to read, manage and answer your request. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps when your request concerns a possible project or collaboration; in other cases it is the legitimate interest in managing incoming communications.
The form checkbox confirms that this notice has been read; it is not used for marketing subscriptions or commercial profiling.
4. Providers and transfers
The site is configured to use Formspree as the form-receiving provider. Data is sent only after the user submits the form and includes the fields entered by the user.
Formspree states that its services are hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers. Vercel may process technical data needed to host and protect the site. Provider notices are linked below.
5. Retention
Requests are kept only for as long as needed to handle the communication and any resulting obligations. The stated period refers to the Formspree plan active on the date of the last update. If the plan, providers or site configuration change, this notice will be updated.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, data portability. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority. To exercise your rights, use the contact form and describe the request.
7. Profiling and external content
The site does not profile visitors, use personalised advertising or run behavioural analytics. Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, Vira-Libri, AIF and other websites lead to external services governed by their own notices and settings.
